We lived in Beijing and were looking for a good dive destination which also offered child care for our than two year old. So we found the small La Estrella dive resort on Cabilao Island. We flew with an overnight stay in Hong Kong to Cebu, went three hours by car and one hour by road and reached a really wonderful holiday destination.
It was interesting to return to the Philippines after more than ten years. Not too much had changed – the mad traffic, the Jeepneys and the overly friendly people.
